Mix it up a little by looking for more groups and channels to join. Just click Find a Group or Find a Channel from the nav bar and read through the descriptions in the directory. Once you've found a group that interests you, click the "Join" button and you're in.

You can search for the existing Groups via the Find A Group link on your nav bar. This page shows you all the groups which are present on SMSjunction. Please note that to get yourself added to a particular group you would have to registered members of SMSjunction.

Also note that it is not necessary for each and every Group Member to regsiter. The Group Founder can register and start the Group. But the non-registered users wont be able to send messages; they would only be able to receive them.

You can also search for your friend who is an existing member of SMSjunction via the Find A Member link on your nav bar. This would allow you to search by a member's real name, handle name or email address.
